Signing up Coaches - by Mike Thompson Independent Team Beachbody Coach

Congrats to Kevin Rutherford who signed Eric up as his second Active coach and therefore will move up to Emerald tomorrow. Kevin has also taken care of the other requirements for the Customer Lead program so when he turns Emerald tomorrow he will qualify for those free customers.

Two months ago, Kevin set his goals to sign up 1 new Coach a month, and he’s made his goal! Here’s what Kevin said about how he did it –

“My friends describe me as someone that likes to be helpful in any situation. Helpful and caring I guess would be accurate. When my wife was diagnosed with Diabetes, I instantly went to "help" mode. Using that philosophy, I went about using Beachbody as another tool I could use to help people. To me money is not the primary issue, helping people improve their style of life, their quality of life, their over all health is my primary goal. If I can help someone live a better, longer life that they in turn can share with others, I will have succeeded in my goal. I am doing unto others that which I would want them to do to me. Simply put.”

Remember Caoches – to qualify for free customers:
You must be Active with 1 Active coach in each leg
You must be a Team Beachbody Club member
You must have worked out LIVE in WOWY at least 8 times in the past 30 days
You must have an updated profile Bio, profile pic, and before pic

Signing up a Coach

The easiest way to sign up a new coach is to have them go to your Beachbody Coach Website – www.beachbodycoach.com/screen-name - insert your screen name at the end. Just tell them to click the big COACH button and follow the screens. During the signup process, it’s easiest to have them go ahead and sign up for Shakeology or a workout program of their choice. A signup for Shakeology immediately makes them an active coach AND gets you a $20 bonus as their sponsoring coach.

Shakeology Fast Start Bonus

Did you know that when you sponsor a coach and they sign up to Shakeology during the Coach signup or in their first 30 days, you get a $20 Bonus? Yep!

HOWEVER – if they don’t sign up for Shakeology in the Coach signup process, they must purchase the Shakeology Fast Start Pack from the Coach Items section of the Team Beachbody SHOP. Have them navigate to Team Beachbody > SHOP >Coach Items > Shakeology Items > Shakeology Fast Start Pack. If they just order a regular order of Shakeology (autoship or 1 month) then you, as the sponsoring coach, won’t get the $20 Bonus.

Switching a customer to a Coach

I take a different approach on this – I get them to sign in to Team Beachbody, rollover the COACH tab up top and then click BE A COACH and follow the screen. Since they are already YOUR Customer, they are linked to already and when they become a coach, they will be under you.

BTW – remind your new customers and coaches to remember their passwords – it will save them headaches later.

Switching a customer to you

Some people may already have a Team Beachbody account or have purchased something from Beachbody in the past. You want to make sure they are linked to you though. If they have a Team Beachbody profile, you must get them to send an email to coachrelations@teambeachbody.com and request to change to you as their coach – they need to give your coach screen name.

Signing up a Customer – first time

You want all your friends and family to be a customer. But here’s the good news, they don’t have to buy anything – they can just sign up and join free! Get them to go to your coach site and click the JOIN button and sign up free. This will get them a number of things including a free weekly newsletter! In the future, when they purchase anything, they will already be linked to you!
