An example of what NOT to do and how to do it BETTER next time

Hey Coaches! I wanted to pull out an example of what NOT to do when someone asks you about anything beachbody. The example I came across is real. It's no one in team passion but I'm keeping identities hidden just the same. I'll explain below the example of why this is the wrong why to respond to a question and then offer a better way to respond. You won't believe how simple it is to be affective :-)

*****Prospect: So what is the discount? Is there anything you have to do monthly to remain a coach or can you use it just for discounts?

Coach: the $25 Join fee is waived and the 1st Month $15 Coach fee is waived..(40 total) Starting in Month 2 or 30 days after you join coaching you do pay $14.95 only a month for the Coaching..Think of it like a membership fee to get the 25% discount off the shakeology and anything else you buy..Like a Netflix fee...

Also as part of that 15 you get your own websites and store for anyone to buy thru you if you get someone int in anything BB makes like shakeology, P90X, etc.. Many of my shakeology users do this and get 2 or 3 people to buy it thru them for some commissions over time so theres becomes free! Make sense?

Does that help ya? Theres NOTHING you have to do with the coaching AT ALL if you so choose..You can just enjoy the discount if you wish that comes with the $14.95..That was your main Q answered I hope..

It's extremely helpful to read this because if YOU respond like this you won't notice how much of a beggars posture you have unless you're looking at it from a third person point of view. So now that you are looking as a third person. How's this coaches response read to you? It's a beggars posture I thought. This is actually a VERY typical response that most coaches seem to have to a simple question from a prospect. I think all of us coaches are great people with great intentions but we need some work on how we respond! This particular prospect probably is not even going to respond to say anything one way or another because this prospect is most likely going to feel like if he/she says anything at all that he/she will be bulldozed over with a big long explanation in a beggars demeanor. Not good!

A more affective response would be this. Prepare yourself coaches this is probably a lot simpler than most of you are making it: "Watch my video first and I'll show you anything you wanna see. When you have a few minutes of distraction free time click play: . What do you like best and what made the most sense to you?" This will open up constructive discussion AFTER they've watched the video. Price will probably come up based on the initial question the prospect had. You can say, "Reallocate $90 you're already spending and shakeology won't cost you a dime. You asked earlier about requirements for the discounts... The ONLY requirement is a $14.95 monthly business fee which will be entirely absorbed into the discounts you'll get on shakeology. Do you prefer greenberry or chocolate?"

How's that read coaches? Do you see how your posture is sooooooo much more attractive verses the beggars and bull dozers posture? Don't make it difficult or complicated and definitely don't beg!
