Let your prospects know your time is valueble

January 26 at 4:36pm
Hey Team! I had an exchange today that I'm sure all of you have had before and it probably frustrated the heck out of you. The way I dealt with it was spot on so I wanted to share it with you so that you can benefit next time someone tries this with you :-) Make sure your prospects know that your time is valuable and that what you have is a gift.

Me:
Feb 3rd im free in the afternoon. How's 1 pm feb 3rd work for you?

prospect:
thats good you call me because i am brain dead and will forget totally not on purpose lol

me:
I need you to promise you will write it down in your calendar first so that you do not forget. I cannot commit to an appointment that you will not commit to. Can you write it down in your calendar and commit?

Later on she wrote me to tell me she was picking up a calendar today when she picks her kids up from school and assured me she would write it down and not forget.

Not everyones going to respond like that. The ones that don't, good riddance to them they would have just frustrated you. I just successfully sorted. I hope this helps some of you avoid some frustrations in your exchanges :)
