Discipline your passion and don't talk too much...

February 23 at 11:40am
Hey Coaches! Ever have a prospect get you going on and on and on about P90X, Shakeology, the business opportunity, Tony horton, or anything team beachbody? It's really easy to do because we LOVE this company and what we are doing for ourselves, our family, and for other people. I LOVE talking about this stuff! But... You'll loose most if not all of your potential customers and coaches if you talk too much. Be passionate, light yourself on fire and let the world watch you burn, but discipline your passion when you're interacting with prospects or you will loose them. They will be sorry they ever mentioned Tony Horton or P90X. All you want to do is say just enough to create the need for them to want to know more about it. The moment that point is reached and you keep talking you are entering territory where you are likely to loose them. So grab there contact info and get the heck out of there asap! Don't hang around and keep talking. Now that you've said just enough to create curiosity and interest so they are willing to give you their contact info get out of there asap and send them a third party tool the following day when you have a few minutes of free time. Don't say too much in the exposure either and ask them "what did you like the best about the information in the video?".

Use these exposure scripts I wrote. They are AWESOME and they work: http://teampassion.info/coaches/resources/exposure_scripts.html

I encourage you to run by your exposure with me first so that I can help you. Don't keep creating exposures and following up with people on your own if you're way is not working. Bring me in so you can get better at this. Use me.

The WORST time in a social setting to bring up Team Beachbody is at the beginning. The best time is just before you have to leave because it gives you an easy out to not talk any more about it because you have to get going. If it comes up well before you have to leave and they insist on more info just tell them "no, watch the video first that I'm going to send you and I promise i'll show you anything you want to see after you watch the video and you tell me what you like best about the information in it". Do not give in and talk anymore about it. Give in to that and you'll probably loose that person.

Be passionate but discipline your passion coaches :-)

Tom
