You can Now backup your Facebook Contacts :-) Make sure to get that done

This is a really cool new feature that yahoo has. Facebook still offers no method to export your contacts so make sure you go into your yahoo account to "back up" your facebook contacts.

Log into your yahoo email account and go to the contacts area. On this page you'll see an import section where you can import from all kinds of different places. One of them is Facebook :-)

Facebook deletes a lot of accounts for who knows what. I'm still not sure why they deleted me in the past but when they did I lost all 2,700 of my contacts. I wish yahoo had an import feature back then! Basically should your account ever get deleted all you have to do to get your contacts back is use the find a friend feature in your new facebook account to invite all your yahoo contacts (after you sign up a new facebook account). If you don't back up your facebook contacts and your account gets wiped out then you'll play heck trying to get all your contacts back.

I recommend doing this at least once per week depending on the rate at which you add new facebook friends. I get new ones every day so I'll be importing at least a few times a week. NOTE: Don't add too many friends in the same day other wise you might get shut down for suspected spamming. Always send a one sentence message with your friend add request so the person you're adding doesn't think you're spam. If you add about ten a day you should be fine. Ten new friends a day is a GREAT number If it's consistent and non spammy.
