Interact with your fellow coaches - Part 3 - Set up your facebook lists!

July 9 at 9:52am
Set up a facebook list and maybe call it "Coaches". Set up another facebook list and maybe call that one, "customers". Maybe even set up a third list and call it, "Prospects". Then make it part of your daily routine to display your different lists on your facebook wall and interact with your fellow coaches, customers, and prospects. If there is no interaction there is no business. The interaction you get from this will help you stay on track with your fitness program to.

If you're new to lists here is how you set them up.

1. Click on "Home".
2. On the left side of your screen you'll see the various lists facebook gives you by default. Click the "Friends" list and you'll see all your friends show up to the right of that column.
3. In the upper right hand corner of the middle column click the "+ Creat a List" Button. In the "Enter A Name" Field enter in "Coaches" Or "Fellow Coaches" then start adding your fellow coaches to your new list and click the "Create List" button in the lower right side of the pop up window.

Now you have your first list! Repeat those steps to create another list for customers, and another for prospects. You can get as creative with this as you like and call them whatever you want to help you keep track of people you want to focus on interacting with more.

You can edit your lists at any time. If you want to delete users or add new users to a list do the following...

1. Click on "Account" in the upper right hand side of your screen and selection "Edit friends". At the left had side of the page toward the bottom you'll see your lists.
2. Click on "All Friends" at the top of the left column. Off to the right of each friend listed you'll see a button that says "Add to List". Click that button and select which list you want to add that friend to.

Using your lists will save you a bunch of time sifting through entire list of friends especially as that list of all friends grows. It only takes 10 - 20 minutes a day to make proper use of facebook as part of your over all strategy to build a business.

If you need any help with building your lists let me know! I add new people to my lists regularly and you should be to if you're getting out there and talking to new people regularly.
