Hey coaches! This is a BIG topic matter for my facebook focus group that I wanted to extend to the rest of you not in the facebook focus group. If you're not in it and would like to be LET ME KNOW.
All of you are already on facebook. There is enormous opportunity to help a LOT of people get super healthy right here on facebook.
Right off the bat I'm going to be honest with you because that's something you can always expect from me even if it's not what you want to hear. If people are not approaching you about team beachbody on their own accord then you are not doing things to create that kind of "pull" to attract people to ask you about anything team beachbody or shakeology. What that means is the only way they are going to know about team beachbody is if you approach them with it. Or, CHANGE SOMETHING and create the pull that attracts people to ask you about shakeology etc..
It starts with the introductions! Introduce yourself to people regularly. Scope out friends of friends with common interests and send them stupid simple little messages that have pull. HAVE FUN it's a process of meeting people and making friends. Something you enjoy anyway right? If you don't then this is the wrong business for you. I love making new friends I do it with or without the beachbody opportunity.
So this is how you introduce yourself to friends of friends on facebook. I started copying and pasting things I've said to friends of friends with common interests and some of them always "friend up" with me. Check this out and notice how EASY this is and how SIMPLE it is for any one of you to duplicate:
"Nice fish! Get a chance to wet your hook yet this year how's the bite?"
"I LOVE Heavy Metal! What's your favorite band(s)?"
"Hey I saw you're really into Megadeth have you seem them live before? I've got a really good live experiences at their shows!"
"I rarely EVER take the time to read someones profile all the way through but I couldn't resist yours you've some amazing stuff on yours that makes a lot of sense to me. Most of our philosophies perfectly line up and I saw a couple new ones to me that I really liked. We must become facebook friends! May I send you a friend request?"
"Wow we like way too many of the same bands to NOT already be friends on this thing...LoL We must "friend up"! May I friend request you?
"We went to the same high school! How have you been all these years later?"
"I read a comment you made in a message thread and I think you made a really good point I can totally relate to that. I'm Tom it's nice to meet you. What do you think about such and such?"
"LoL your profile actually made me giggle outloud I love what you said about so and so. Hi I'm Tom"
Do this every day! As you get more consistent practice these will get so much easier. I can execute 10 introductions in 2 or 3 minutes now. At first it took me 2 or 3 minutes just to do one because I didn't know what to say and Id just sit there thinking about how not to sound like every other schmo on facebook. Practice in conjunction with daily personal development makes all the difference in the world. And then as your quantity AND quality gets better you begin to create more "pull" so more people are asking you about something team beachbody and then BOOM! Create the exposure and the perfect follow up question that engages them , "what do you like the best about the video?"
It really is that simple. The key is to be consistent. Do it for a few months and then quit and all that build up will be fruitless. Commit to it for a full year and you will want to keep going because you'll have had success and you've got something RESIDUAL to build on which does not nor ever will exist at a job. Not knocking jobs here just sayin residual income is not found at a job they don't exist.
The over all "package" of creating "pull" consists of more than stupid simple introductions it's also a combination of status updates and news feed interactions. But the introductions is where most people get hung up and just need to see how easy it is. Don't make it complicated. Odds are anything complicated you think of is not going to create any "pull" anyway. Ya know?
If you'd like to be part of the facebook focus group and really learn how to use facebook effectively to build your business let me know I'd be more than happy to bring you in and personally show you how to thrive on facebook.
Tom
