Do you know what to say when someone asks you, "What is Team Beachbody?"

It's easy to get lost for words either online or offline to such a simple straight forward question.  You're gut reaction might be a moment of confusion with a puzzled look on your face to match followed by an explanation of the club, wowy, the biz opportunity, p90x, shakeology, way too much info and you've lost your prospect before they've even been asked to watch a third party tool.

How's this for simple, easy, to the point, and effective!  Here is how the flow of conversation online or offline could go:

Prospect - Ok I'll bite. What is this Beachbody stuff you've been talking about?

You - "Team Beachbody is a Home fitness company.  Have you heard of P90X?"  Or you could say, "Team Beachbody is a Home fitness company AND business opportunity.  Have you heard of P90X?"

Prospect - Yes I have.  It's that informercial thing that looks really tough right?

You - "That's right.  It's also a product I get to move through my business center.  I've used it myself and lost X amount of weight, X inches, doubled my strength, and dramatically increased my health and how I feel every day. What do you know about P90X what have you heard?"

Or you could just say, "That's right.  What do you know about P90X?"

Prospect: Yada yada yada.....What all do you have to do with it to get it to work?

You - "I'll send you  something on that later when I have more time so check your inbox later today."  Or if this is an offline communication, "I have to run to make an appointment right now.  Give me your name, email, and number ill send you something within the next couple days when I have time."

How's that read to you coaches?  Do you think this will help you answer that simple question with a simple but effective answer?  Let me dissect it a little bit for you so you can shoot from the hip more effectively as you talk to people.  Every time I respond back I'm askin for something in return.  It doesn't have to be a sign up or a sale in return just a simple answer to a simple question.  Notice when they asked me,  "What is Beachbody?" I answered in simple but effective terms and attached a question to keep them engaged.  If I stopped at, "Team beachbody is a home fitness company", then most likely they wouldn't give me any more of their time because I didn't ask for more of their time.   My next engaging question was, "what do you know about or what have you heard about P90X?".  You want to keep bidding for their time until they ask you for more information about it which is your cue to tell them you'll send them something when you have time.  And then you exit the conversation IMMEDIATELY.  If they never ask for more of anything from you then I would only go back and forth 2 or 3 times.  You don't want to keep engaging someone and spending all that time with someone who is not going to do anything anyway.  After two or three times I would ask them permission to send them something.  Lets say after your 2nd or 3rd response and engaging question they say, "Yeah it looks really great I've seen the infomercial etc..." and they leave it open like that.  Then you could say, "Would you like me to send you something about Team beachbody?"   If they say yes then respond one last time, "I'll send you something later when I have a few minutes of free time again so check your inbox later."

Then later go make the exposure to their inbox.  You can find some exposure scripts here: http://teampassion.info/coaches/resources/exposure_scripts.html

With each and every exposure you make add their name, contact info, third party tool used, and the date to your paper list.  And add them to your facebook prospect list.  Even if you add just one name to your list a day then it's a good day.
